This is caused by the natural properties of salt. Since Salt is hygroscopic, it draws moisture from the air by default. For this reason if you place a salt lamp anywhere, especially in the open or in humid environments, water from the air will naturally start to condense on the surface. When enough of it condenses, it will start dripping to the base, hence the terms crying and leaking. It’s impossible to completely avoid it, unless keep in a very arid area. Or if they are left turned OFF for long periods of time, it will start to sweat.

Shape, Size and weight of each lamp may vary due to the crystal shape of the salt.  Since the products are hand carved, slight variation in shape and finish from products to products are expected.   Being a natural material, color of each product may slightly different due to the variation of minerals it contains.
